“We've been obsessed with matcha for years, and it feels like people are finally catching on!”

Hi! We're Michael and Nia. Over the years and many trips to Japan, we've spent weeks in Yame, Shizuoka, and Uji, searching for the best matchas. We'd stand in tea shops Googling Japanese names, only to find scattered reviews that didn't really help. Choosing two matchas could take an hour. It was frustrating and it felt like it shouldn't be that hard.

So we built the app we wished existed: a place to scan, discover, review and remember every matcha you try — guided by a community of people who actually know their matcha.
